We spent some time this week in Orlando dialing in the new Elite Quattro, and that included using our new GoPro camera to get some footage of what the ski's actually doing on the water. Here's a short video, more's to come!

British Ski Club turns 50 Years old

"Congratulations" to Cirencester Waterski Club a UK ski club who celebrated there 50th anniversary this year.

Both Andy & Glenn were on hand to run a ski clinic were lots of club members had chance to try the Elite Ski for the first time. Success was immense as everyone that tried it loved it!!!

Was great to see Andy back on UK water - Great day all round along with some good British Sunshine!

Nicole Arthur Sets Pending European Record

This past weekend at the Diablo Shores Pro-Am, Elite team skier Nicole Arthur had a PB round of 3.25@39.5 off, a new pending European Women's record!!

Nicole had this to say:

"I had a great weekend. I had a lot of fun and learnt a lot! Thanks goes to my hubby Aidan and Mike for coaching and support throughout the season right up until the event. Also thanks goes to O'Brien Elite for making me part of the team. Getting the European record on the Elite is just the icing on the cake for me ending the season! I love the ski and knowing I can break the record after only riding 6 months fills me with great confidence as to what is hopefully to come in future months. Thanks again to O'Brien and Andy Mapple for all their support!"

September, Already?

I had a fun summer. I feel that my technique and knowledge about skiing has matured this summer. I am skiing better in practice than ever before. I wasn't happy with my performances at the pro events this summer though. I did however post a couple 41 off scores in record capable tournaments so my overall goal for summer was achieved. I will be on the bubble whether or not I will qualify for the World Championships next year in Russia! I want to get off that bubble so I'm still skiing hard and hitting a record capable tourney next weekend. It is the nicest lake in Indiana, and one of the best ski sites in the nation so I'm excited for a big score. After that, I'm back on the water continue to test out the new 2011 Elite products!

New Elite blog back on line!

Welcome back to the O'Brien Elite Ski blog. We are sorry for being down so long but that is how it goes sometimes living in the world of the internet. We lost all of our old post's from the old blog but will start fresh with our new 2011 Elite lineup. We will ask our team to get busy and post up what they have been doing all summer and more importantly we will show you what we have been working on for the past few months.
